Thanks to Dermot Wilson (curator), Alex Campbell (Gallery Coordinator) and Natasha Landry (Education Officer) for making our time in North Bay fun, and for Lieann Koiwkoski (Director of Near North Mobile Media Lab) for her enthusiasm during setup!

Hello Sigi,
We had a school tour of about 20 students. They very much enjoyed the exhibition. Some had never seen this genre of installation exhibition and were enthralled by it. It was really great to see them interact with all the elements of the exhibition. Each student participated in the activity of writing down what they think is beautiful on the activity papers. I will be sending them to you next week. There are some really great ones. Also, the teachers were so inspired by the show that they are going to exhibit a similar installation for their yearly art festival called “Insights and Sounds”. Dermot and I also had them go out and take digital pictures of what they believe to be beautiful and post the pictures on a blog a created for them http://kennedygallery.blogspot.com. We have another school tour on Friday so I’ll write and let you know how it goes!! Great show!
